Power Plant Tours
Twice each year, Beltrami Electric Cooperative offers tours of the Milton R. Young Station electric generation facility located near Center, N.D. The tour includes stops at Beltrami Electric's wholesale power supplier, Minnkota Power Cooperative, in Grand Forks, N.D., the Ashtabula Wind Farm near Valley City, N.D. (spring tour), the Garrison Dam on the Missouri River (fall tour) and the Milton R. Young Station. Travel is by deluxe motor coach and guests are treated to meals and accommodations at the Seven Seas Motel, in Mandan, N.D., where they will enjoy a banquet dinner and a presentation on the Milton R. Young Station.
The 2013 tour dates are June 6-7 and September 19-20.
