Red Flags Rule
As many as nine million Americans have their identities stolen each year. As a result of that startling statistic, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has developed a regulation called the “Red Flags Rule.” The Red Flags Rule requires businesses to develop a program to detect, prevent and minimize the damage that could result from identity theft.
